Memphis, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's soccer team finished their West Coast road trip with a victory over the University of San Francisco on Sunday evening.
Two different Lady Tigers scored in the match, making four different scorers in the two games this season. The first goal was scored by Nicole Bates-Eamer. Later in the game, Becca Amrozowicz scored the game-winner off of a pass by newcomer R.B. Sparrow.
"San Francisco has a squad that is just as talented as the Sacramento State team that beat us Friday," said head coach Brooks Monoghan. "We just stepped up and played like we are capable of playing today. The difference was like night and day. We made a few changes between the two games, but the team really just stepped up."
The Lady Tigers return to Memphis to open their home schedule Friday evening at Echles with a game against the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Game Time is 5:00.
